Introducing book clubs

Book clubs are becoming increasingly popular, from Oprah Winfrey to Dua Lipa, having an online rendez-vous with an audience that values literary curation is a way to engage them in a valuable and durable fashion.

In Peakub everything revolves around a publication, and you can now feature your own book club under a publication. Simply go to your dashboard and enable book club and start adding books you want your audience to follow or read along.

Scheduling

You can easily schedule books to read with our built-in book picker. Choose the start and end date, add an intention and submit. By default a new book's schedule follows the book club frequency setting that determines whether you schedule a book once a week, a month or every two months.

Readers can suggest books

If the setting is enabled, your readers can suggest books to read next based on their subscription status (subscriber, paid subscriber, premium).

If the setting is enabled, your readers can vote for the next book to read next based on their subscription status (subscriber, paid subscriber, premium).

At any time you can post in short form for your book club only.

Readers can read along

If the setting is enabled, your readers can read along and update their progress on the currently reading book. Their interaction updates a summary of the overall progress on the current book.

Add a book review

For your expert opinion on a book, you can add an article with the "Book review" template then attach it to your book club. By doing so as a publisher you give an authoritative and valued view on the book club entries that will drive the overall engagement.
